It's a bit hesitant, but Gintoki finally does sit back down and release the cupcakes. Since it sounds like Zura has no intention of forbidding him from eating them. Then his face softens, and he nods as he says, solemnly: ]

So when his friend turns to get started on tea, he smiles to himself, and leans back in his chair. ]

[ In a few minutes, he's plonking a cup of tea down on the table in front of Gintoki and taking a seat across from him with his own. He sets it down to pick up a screwdriver and a small thingamajig that is most likely part of a bomb, and starts putting it together with another one. ]
[ Don't mind him, he's just dissociating a little bit. Once the cup comes down and Zura sits, he blinks back into reality, and finally opens the box of cupcakes. ]
