Baizhu looks... well, he looks terrible. Even paler than usual, with the visible air of a man who has not slept properly in over a week. He hesitates before he even says anything, but steels himself and takes a breath.]

As many of you are aware... there was a magical incident at the Research Centre at the start of the week. The administration there were very kind in not immediately naming the individual who caused it, but... I believe that those who were affected by it have a right to know that the one at fault was me.

[Baizhu swallows. He can barely look at the camera at all.]

I can only offer my deepest apologies to anyone who may have been distressed or hurt as a result of my actions. That it was not intentional on my part is... irrelevant.

It's no secret (or a badly kept one, by now) that one of the Otherworlders is openly searching for a way to gain immortality.

Through his own research on the subject, aided by the advanced technology and new magic offered to him by Ellipsa and the Research Centre, as well as willing volunteers and further knowledge gained from events in his home nation of Liyue, he has been able to expand his experiments to a point that he never thought he would be able to achieve.

But things can never be as simple as that. The magics that he attempts to use - a potent blend of his own qi-based abilities, Ellipsan technology, and fae magic - blend together and create something that quickly spirals out of control and breaks containment.

[Zorua has been admittedly a little depressed, ever since it became clear his mother isn't here with him. He's doing is his best to put on a brave face, but it's been difficult.

He's finally using the network though, now that he's a little more familiar with it.]

I saw some really strange Pokemon around the city! There was a Meowth but it didn't have a coin on its forehead. I tried to talk to it but it didn't want to talk, it made a funny HISSSS noise and ran away!

What are the Pokemon from your world like? Are they really strong? All the Pokemon here seem really small, except for the big strange-looking Houndoom I saw that tried to chase me.

Aikawa Megumi here, and fer those who ain't familiar with me, I'm a psychic and I got somethin' ta report. Apparently, that frozen heart thing seems ta be a spell that's meant ta target Otherworlders specifically. I ain't an expert in magic, but if there're anyone who is that wants to get ta the bottom of this, we can work together, or somethin' and become magic detectives.

This is stupid — all that idiot's fault I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and ending up here in this weird place.

No that can't be it either, this doesn't really look familiar at all.

[she rubs at her face looking a mix of frustrated and upset about something while trying stay calm. she vaguely remembers bits and pieces of the explanation she got but look it was a lot to take in when she's going Through It and having an emotional crisis just seconds before and honestly very rude of this place] Yeah because it's not, it's some sort of magical kidnapping. Honestly I don't even know how much of what I was told is even true but we'll be fine— we can figure this out and...

[she looks over at her newly received phone and belatedly notices it's been recording] Wait. Has this been on the whole time? Ugh. This just keeps getting even more weirder by the minute. Stupid thing must be defective too... who can even hear this anyway?

[ooc; pink = ran, green = suu, blue = miki respectively. normally her guardian chara are only visible to others who have them and people pure of heart. however because of being pulled into ellipsa it can totally bypass canon logic so! you have two options to play with this to either think she is having a weird disjointed conversation with herself or have your character see/hear them too which will make her extra confused. ]
